Infectious bronchitis and Gumboro disease have been, for years, among the most frequent viral conditions during broiler rearing. Deciding to vaccinate, or not, may seem a complex decision-making process. Is it really the case? How to best protect the broilers when choosing among the different available vaccine strategies and routes of administration? For how long should we vaccinate? These are some of the questions we will try to address together.
Dr. Annie Borduas graduated from the Veterinary Medicine Faculty of the Université de Montréal in 2013. She also obtained a business management certificate from the École des hautes études commerciales in June 2020. She just completed her first part-time year for a Master of Business Administration in Université de Sherbrooke.
She practised veterinary medicine for four years in dairy and beef production in the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region.
Since 2017, she is back in her home area, joining the Services vétérinaires ambulatoires Triple-V, specializing in poultry (broilers, layer hens, turkeys, broiler breeders, etc.), slaughter calves, as well as lamb and rabbit production. Her customers include feed mills, hatcheries, integrators and independent customers.
