Dr Manon Racicot is a veterinary epidemiologist. She completed her DVM in 2007 and her PhD in 2011 at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire of the Université de Montréal.
She works for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) since 2007, and is an adjunct professor at the Université de Montréal since 2015. Her research focuses on risk analysis, which includes risk assessment, risk management and risk communication, related to food safety and animal health. She is particularly interested in preventing and controlling infectious diseases from farm to table using a behavioral perspective. She is internationally recognized for her innovative approach to biosecurity challenges.
