Martine Boulianne, DVM
Professor University of Montreal's Veterinary Medicine Faculty

Professor at the University of Montreal's Veterinary Medicine Faculty, Dr. Boulianne graduated from the University of Montreal's Veterinary Medicine Faculty. She completed her Doctorate degree at the Guelph University and pursued post-doctoral studies at the University of California and was awarded Diplomate status by the American College of Poultry Veterinarians. Her children like to tease her on the number of years she spent in school.

She is a scientific known for her close focus on the poultry farmers' concerns in the field, and holds the Poultry Research Chair at the University of Montreal's Veterinary Medicine Faculty Her main interests are the reduction of the use of antibiotics in the poultry industry and the search for alternatives, as well as the impact of alternative housing on layers health, and the control of diseases of economic importance like necrotic enteritis, Enterococcus cecorum spondylitis, and infectious bronchitis.
