Magali-Wen St-Germain is a doctoral candidate at the Laval University's Biochemistry, Microbiology and Bioinformatics Department.
Her professional interests focused on the impact of alternative nesting boxes on air quality and bioaerosols, in a health perspective, as well as on ways to reduce dust and ammonia emissions in layer hen aviaries.
She conducts her work under the supervision of Professor Caroline Duchaine (Ph. D., holder of the Canada Research Chair in Bioaerosols) at the Institut Universitaire de cardiologie et de pneumologie de Québec Research Center, and under the codirection of Professor Martine Boulianne (DVM, Ph. D, holder of the Canada Poultry Research Chair at the Université de Montréal) from the Veterinary Medicine Faculty of the Université de Montréal.
