Benoit Marcoux has over 20 years of experience in business financial services for major financial institutions. He specialized in risk management of the exchange market, interest rates and commodities through his different positions: trader, product director and manager. Since 2019, he shares his experience with the Desjardins team, supporting its business members and clients. Mr. Marcoux holds a master's degree in finance from the University of Sherbrooke and the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Sylvain Morel is an agronomist and holds a bachelor's degree in agro-economy from Laval University. Mr. Morel started his career in finance in 1996. He's been working for Mouvement Desjardins since 2011. For the first 5 years, he was a Senior Director, Major Agri-Food Accounts, and since 2016, he is Vice-President, Agriculture and Agri-Food Markets. He has a wide experience in agriculture and agri-food financing, at the production, processing, and retail levels. Finally, he has an impressive network in the agriculture and agri-food sectors.
